The following is unsolicited praise of Shawn by a recent client:
Before too much time passes, I want to take a moment to commend you on the level of professionalism exhibited by Shawn throughout his representation of me. Shawn was prepared, poised and, ultimately, victorious at trial.
Faced with an adversary whose strategy was to bulldoze and not back down, Shawn chose the high road. He was well prepared with both the facts and the law, and it was this that won the case in a directed verdict, avoiding the necessity of the jury’s decision. Shawn’s argument for a directed verdict was delivered without error. He knew the law and was going to make sure that the Judge (who seemed ill versed as to the statutory requirements for partnership by estoppel) knew it too.
While I am certain you don’t need me to tell you this – Shawn is a skilled attorney and we are grateful that he was on our side.
